Berrylicious Jar

I've been making these babies for a year now and even though I don't crave them as much as I used to I still love making them because I get to play around with colors, flavors and textures. Just like when getting dressed..
This JOD(jar of delight) was made with lots of love and berries lol

~The first layer is overnight oats soaked in vanilla soy milk(you can use whichever milk you like) with organic maple syrup and chia seeds. I used:
1 cup of oats, 1 and a half cups of soy milk(or until soaked), 1 tbl spoon  of maple syrup, 3 tbl spoons of chia seeds. Mix it all up and let sit in the fridge overnight.
~The second layer is blackerries blended with banana and ice. I used:
1 hand-full of blackberries, 1 banana and 3 ice cubes. Blend only a little bit to obtain a thick consistency.
~Third layer is 1 banana placed around the jar with more oats in the middle.
~Fourth layer is 4 strawberries around the jar with plain greek yogurt in the middle.
~Fifth  layer is 1 hand-full of frozen mango blended with ice.
~And the last but not least is simply berries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
A delicious and nutritious breakfast or snack... if you want to make it to bring to work or anywhere simply put less fruit on the top, close the jar and you have the perfect on the go snack!!
You can layer it however you prefer the only thing I make before hand is the oats everything else is better if you make it right before you eat it.
Eating healthy is easy if you really want to do it! No excuses, you are on your way to a healthier life style.

 Good Vibes

Will miss those summer nights
