On the 31st we went to a beach called playa blanca, you had to take a little boat from were we were staying for about 10 minutes but the views and ocean were amazing, we even went snorkeling for a couple hours and it was one of the most amazing things to do on new years eve.

On january first we went back to Playa Blanca alone, and hiked the beautiful cactus mountain where you had the view of two beaches at the time, we later on found out you could get to that one empty beach but only if you asked the boat drivers to take u there but you have to plan and make sure they come back for you.

The sunset going down the mountain was amazing!! I will never forget this view and exact moment.

The second to last day we ventured to parque Tayrona one more time, this time to explore the beautiful beaches, it was a long trip so we had to get up early and take a cab to Taganga from El rodadero and from there a 2 hour boat ride. The first time we went we took a bus straight from Santa Marta so we wanted to explore different ways to get there this time.

Leaving on the boat from Taganga probably the worst boat ride of my life, so jumpy and so so scary haha but the final destination was worth every second of that miserable boat ride.

Finally arriving on the most beautiful beach I have ever been to, Cabo San Juan. You could rent a hammock on that little hut and stay the night, we had to leave back to medellin the next morning so we couldn't stay but we wish we made it there before so we could have because this place is AMAZING!!!

We went to the beach next to Cabo San Juan to wind down because I got a little sea sick and we also wanted to charge and cleanse our crystals and at this beach called Playa Nudista, you couldn't swim because it had huge waves and weird currents so we pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves so we hung out here for an hour until we got really hot and needed to swim haha

So sad to leave but we had to catch a plane the next morning, next time we will definitely plan to come here and camp for at least a few days, we only saw one tiny bit of the park. And the locals told us that at night time you don't even need flashlights because the stars are so close and bright!!
